Marathon acquires MobiOne with software solutions for temperature-controlled distribution, transportation, and logistics operations. MobiOne is focused on serving food producers, transport companies and fuel distributors across the Nordics.
MobiOne has long been one of the leading vendors in its space, with deep knowledge of the industry - exactly the kind of company we at Marathon love working with. Over the past few years, MobiOne has invested significantly in rebuilding its technical platform and modernizing its offering. Now that the company is focused on launching that new platform and introducing AI, we are delighted that Iain Bade and his team have decided to work with us.
Marathon's Anders Tormod has experience from transportation software from his tenure as CEO for PocketMobile and as General Manager at Trimble. Anders has been instrumental in this transaction and will join MobiOne's board and support the company through its next phase.
Iain Bade will continue to lead the company. With a brand-new software platform and the full backing of Marathon's team, the years ahead will be all about innovation, AI and customer focus.
